After India A declared their second innings at 189/9, Australia A were set a target of 131 to get within 15 overs. Will Pucovski opened the innings with Joe Burns, but unfortunately for the hosts, Burns chopped a delivery from Umesh Yadav onto his stumps in the first over of the chase. Smith has been the wrecker-in-chief for the Aussies but has also received more than enough support from the likes of David Warner, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell in the batting department. However, David Warner will take no part in the third ODI and the upcoming three-match T20I series, having suffered an unfortunate injury during the previous game....

Hardik Pandya was no doubt India’s best player in the series, scoring big runs in two of the three encounters. Believe it or not, the record for most no-balls in the longest format is a whopping 103. This was achieved in a 1977 Test between West Indies and Pakistan in Bridgetown, Barbados. The two teams together conceded 173 extra runs in 395.2 overs. West Indies were a part of the top five games of this list which goes as - 103, 90, 81,79 and 78 no-balls. More interestingly, Bridgetown hosted four out of these five encounters....

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin opened the bowling in England’s second innings and finished with excellent figures of 6 for 61. According to Lewis, there was enough in the surface to prompt England to adopt a similar tactic. Speaking to the media at the end of the fourth day’s play, Lewis said: After England set India a mammoth 420 to win the Chennai Test, Leach dealt the hosts a massive blow, beating opener Rohit Sharma’s defence and cleaning him up for 12....

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to social media to share a video of the special moment. The board congratulated the 26-year-old for his debut in the shortest format. The BCCI wrote on Twitter: It is with mentioning that Hooda made his ODI debut earlier this month against the West Indies. The right-handed batter featured in two matches in the series, in which he managed 55 runs....

Jadeja has recovered from injury and has staged a comeback to the Indian squad for the upcoming T20I and Test series against Sri Lanka. Thakur, on the other hand, has been given a break for both series. During a discussion on the Star Sports show Game Plan, Sanjay Bangar was asked about Jadeja’s best position in the Indian T20I lineup. He responded: The former India cricketer feels Jadeja is an ideal replacement for Thakur....

After Darcie Brown’s four-wicket haul helped Australia restrict the visitors to 225/8 in their 50 overs, Healy and Haynes put on a massive stand of 126 runs in just 21.2 overs to take the game away from India Women. Put in to bat, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Varma got India off to a quick start, but Brown struck in the fourth over to remove the latter. The early wicket turned the momentum in the hosts’ favour, before Brown then sent Mandhana packing two overs later....

Made to follow on, India Women looked down and out, staring at a comprehensive defeat, after collapsing to 199 for 7 in their second innings. However, a resolute unbeaten stand of 104 runs between debutants Sneh Rana (80 not out) and Taniya Bhatia (44 not out) ensured a hard-fought draw for India Women. Taking to her Twitter account on Sunday, Smriti Mandhana described playing a Test match for India as a special and emotional moment....

The Blue Tigers started with a bang as they took the lead in the second minute courtesy of an Anwar Ali strike from inside the box. With the early goal secured, India tried to take hold of the game and play some quality build-up football. Hong Kong, on the other hand, tried hard to find an equalizer.
