After a video posted by the the Bensalem Police Department in Kevin’s hometown went viral on YouTube, hitting over 800,000 views so far, NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers were the first to jump into the scene. “It’s a grounding effect when you see something like that,” 76ers head coach Brett Brown said of Grow’s video, according to NBA.com.

Here’s the video of Grow’s incredible performance that got everyone talking:

A tweet from the team official account (@Sixers) offering Kevin a ceremonial two-day contract received great response from fans. The tweet received nearly 2,000 retweets and more than 1,300 favorites.

“By far, Kevin’s favorite team is the Sixers, and he was so excited just to be able to come down here and see practice,” his sister Laura told NBA.com. “But to be a part of the team, and when we got downstairs to see all the media there, it was even more of a surprise. This whole thing’s just taken a mind of its own, and it’s just such a neat experience.”
